TEACHING ACTIVITIES IN CHILE AND ABROAD

Invited to give lectures in the following foreign universities and/or research institutes (in some of them in several opportunities): Berlin, Bielefeld, Cologne, Hannover, Heidelberg, Leipzig, Marburg, Neustadt and Würzburg (Germany); Buenos Aires, Córdoba, La Plata, Mendoza and Neuquén (Argentina); Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo (Brazil); Toronto (Canada); Alcalá de Henares, Barcelona, Madrid, Murcia, Pamplona, Salamanca and Valladolid (Spain); Birmingham/Al. and Cleveland/Oh. (USA); Paris, Epinay and Rouffach, Colmar (France); Arequipa and Lima (Peru); Bern, Geneva and Zurich (Switzerland).

Visiting Professor for some weeks, months or semesters in different foreign universities: Heidelberg (1978-1981: five semesters); Buenos Aires National University (1970 and 1971: two weeks respectively); Barcelona (1978: one week); Madrid and Alcalá de Henares (1988: one semester); Bern (1991: one semester); Rouffach (Institute of Neuropsychiatric Researches associated to the University of Strasbourg, 1992: two weeks); Paris (1992: one semester); Murcia (1993: one week); Córdoba/Argentina (1995 and 1997: one week respectively); Catholic University of Buenos Aires (2004 and 2005: one week respectively); Leipzig (2008: one semester).

Pre and post graduate teaching activity in the following national universities and/or institutes: University of Concepción (1967-1970), Department of Psychiatry North, University of Chile (1970-1976), Neurosurgery Institute (1976-1977), General Psychiatric Hospital (1981-1989), Department of Psychiatry South, University of Chile (1989-1992) and General Psychiatric Hospital in combination with the different Departments of Psychiatry of the University of Chile (1992 up to now).
